All Year 10 students will have the opportunity to take part in a two week block placement of work experience from Monday 28 March to Friday 8 April.

Students have been issued with a comprehensive (Yellow) work experience booklet that needs to be shared with parents and carers. This booklet explains the role played by NYBEP (North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership) in helping us to organise work experience as well as instructions, guidance and important information relating to deadlines.

Letters have also been sent home via students giving further information on how you can access the NYBEP website on work experience. All the possible work placements are listed with details about what each job involves and the type of person that it would suit. This will allow you as parents/carers to work closely with your son/daughter in helping to not only make appropriate and sensible work placement choices, but also to help all of us keeping to the all important deadlines.
