There is an excellent cafeteria where students may purchase a full meal or have a snack. Health foods, salads and sandwiches are available at very competitive prices. A full meal may be purchased for about £1.70.

All year 7, 8 and 9 students are expected to remain on site. Students from other year groups are also expected to remain on the premises during lunchtime unless parents indicate, in writing, that they agree to their child leaving the premises. In this case parents must accept responsibility for their child's safety and behaviour. It is expected that students go to their home if they do not have lunch in school. It is not acceptable for students to simply be "out of school" at lunchtime. Parents become automatically responsible for their child's safety if he/she leaves the premises without permission over the lunchtime period.
