A number of students in Year 11 take on the responsibilities of prefects. These responsibilities include being attached to a form to help the Form Tutor generally, being a link with the students in the form, and assisting the Headteacher and staff at school functions.Selection is not based on academic achievement.Students chosen as prefects are those who have shown a sense of pride in themselves and their attitude to work and are developing powers of leadership.
