All subjects conform to the requirements of the National Curriculum.
During the first two years (Years 7 and 8) students will follow a broad curriculum which includes:
• English
• Mathematics
• Science
• Humanities
• Music
• Art
• Drama
• Technology (including Information Technology, Design Technology, Food Technology and Textiles)
• Modern Languages
• Physical Education and Personal
• Social and Citizenship Education.
In Years 10 and 11 students must take English (Language & Literature/Media Studies in most cases), Mathematics and Science. In addition a number of further subjects may be chosen from a range including History, Geography, PE, Technology, Modern Language, Music, Art, Drama, Dance and applied GCSE's in ICT, Leisure & Tourism, Health & Social Care and Music Technology. We also offer the two new Diploma courses; Society, Health & Development and Creative & Media.
